My apologies

I think it's official. I am theee worst blogger to ever walk the earth. I post so irregularly, and I am deeply sorry. My life just really isn't that exciting right now. I'm a college student, still living at home, whose friends are all at different colleges. My day consists of going to school, coming home, doing homework, eating, and going to bed. Exciting right? False.

I like it when my mom pulls really cool clothes out of her closet that she wore in college. And they just happen to fit me. She had great style.

Yesterday I had my very first college test. Art History was the subject I was tested on. Don't worry, it only took me 4 hours to complete. Which is less than the average time of 5 hours. I was quite proud of myself, aaaand, I think I did rather well. Lets hope.

Have you ever met a person that is just so happy and outgoing, that they make you want to be happy and outgoing? Here is a little story for you: Last Monday I was having the worst day ever. I will spare you the details, but lets just say that it was not a good start to the week, and everything just seemed to be going wrong. As I was walking to the UVU library (I was at school), I came upon a door. Naturally I was going to open it, when I heard someone say, "I'll grab that" I look over and there is a guy running to get to the door before me. As he opens the door, I give him a smile and a "thank you" and proceed to walk. He walks with me. And talks. It's safe to say that he was one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He asked questions about me, and was genuinely interested in my answers. He made me smile and laugh, and just made things seem better. As the week went on, I found myself wanting to be like Mike (that was his name). Meaning I wanted to be able to brighten someones day. Instead of walking around campus with an expressionless face, I would smile. If I ever made eye contact with anyone, I would be sure to give a smile. If I ever had the opportunity to talk to someone, I would. All because of one person. So, I have a challenge for all of you. Don't be afraid to smile. No one is going to judge you for it, and if they do, well then it's their problem. Smile and be friendly, you never know who is having a hard time, and could use a little dose of your happiness.

Well it's late, and I have school tomorrow. More to come . I promise.
